Hi, I'm Daniel Lopez, founder of Growth Dept NYC. I've always been surrounded by the energy and determination of local businesses, which shaped my passion for supporting small brands and helping them scale sustainably.

Before starting Growth Dept, I worked directly in the food industry — behind the counter at a busy NYC pizzeria and a classic New York diner — where I witnessed firsthand the challenges and resilience of small business owners. I also founded and ran a successful residential window cleaning business, gaining real-world experience in branding, customer service, and entrepreneurship.

Professionally, I've developed a strong background in social media strategy, digital marketing, and AI-powered automation — skills I now use to help local businesses grow their online presence, increase sales, and operate more efficiently.

Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in Economics and Accounting at UC Santa Barbara, combining my academic foundation with practical experience to deliver measurable results for the clients I work with.
